Following a traumatic brain injury in 2016, her sleep became erratic and unpredictable. Doctors dismissed her concerns. Medications failed her. Night after night she lay awake, exhausted but unable to sleep, watching old television shows on a small tablet just to get through the dark hours. She did not understand what was happening to her brain. She only knew that sleep, something that had once come naturally, had become the hardest thing in her life.
Her path forward began when she discovered the science behind sleep cycles, circadian rhythm, and the biology of rest. What she learned changed everything. Sleep was not random. It was not a matter of willpower or discipline. It was a system, and that system could be understood and worked with rather than fought against.
Angela created the Sleep Well Calculator because she wished something like it had existed during her own years of struggle. The calculator, the articles, and the videos on this site are all built around one core belief: that understanding your own biology is the first step toward reclaiming your rest.

Today Angela sleeps in alignment with her natural 90-minute cycles. She wakes at the end of a cycle and, most mornings, feels genuinely restored. She built this site so you can feel that too.
